At IndeVets, we understand the challenges that veterinarians face in their careers. That’s why we’ve created a unique approach that combines the flexibility of a relief job with the stability and benefits of a full-time associate position. At IndeVets, we understand that every veterinarian has different preferences for their ideal work schedule. That’s why we have a flexible work window, adaptable to your needs. You have the freedom to choose the number of hours you work weekly, giving you control over your work-life balance.
To qualify for our comprehensive benefits package, we do have minimum hour requirements for part-time and full-time positions. Part-time starts at an average of 25 hours per week, while full-time begins at just 34 hours per week.
Please note that these are average weekly minimums, calculated over a quarter, which is a 13-week period, rather than a two-week pay period.
At IndeVets, we believe in fairly compensating our veterinarians for their time and expertise. We pay by the hour, not by production or shift. So, if your shift runs longer than expected, you’ll be paid for the entire duration, including those few extra minutes spent working on records.
We also understand the importance of taking breaks, so we pay for your lunch time, typically an hour at most practices, and you don’t need to clock out.
