What You Need to Know
Recently it has come to our attention that there are people/organizations out there who are sending false emails on behalf of IndeVets and some of our team (also known as “impersonating”).
Please be aware that the only legitimate form of email or correspondence comes from an @indevets.com email address or from an IndeVets ICIMS account. If you suspect you have received fraudulent communication from someone impersonating an IndeVets employee, please contact security@indevets.com immediately.
How to Protect Yourself
We encourage you to always take the following security steps when receiving email:
- Check the sender’s email address and domain name. If they do not end with @indevets.com or indevets.com, they are not from us.
- Do not click on any links or attachments from suspicious emails. They may contain malware or phishing attempts that can compromise your device or personal information.
- Do not reply to or engage with any unsolicited emails that claim to be from IndeVets or our staff. You can report them as spam or phishing in your email provider.
- Do not provide any personal, financial, or professional information to anyone who contacts you without verifying their identity and legitimacy. You can always reach out to us directly at security@indevets.com or (888) 991-9969 if you have any questions or concerns.
- Do not accept any job offers or contracts from anyone who does not have an official IndeVets email address or website. We will never ask you to pay any fees or provide any sensitive information before hiring you.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused by this. We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance.
Please let us know if you encounter any suspicious or fraudulent activities related to IndeVets or our staff. You can always reach out to us directly at security@indevets.com or (888) 991-9969 if you have any questions or concerns.
